We are seeking a Game Director / Executive Producer to lead the cross-functional development of an upcoming high-profile mobile game based on a globally recognized intellectual property. This role will be instrumental in managing and inspiring a multidisciplinary team across game design, engineering, art, production, analytics, and marketing. The Game Director will serve as the key creative and operational leader on the project, partnering closely with our publishing partner to ensure vision alignment and high-quality execution across all phases of development. You will be expected to proactively identify issues, fill organizational gaps, and drive the team toward creative and commercial success.
Must have:
  • Lead the entire development cycle from concept to launch.
  • Work across all departments for unified vision and execution.
  • Act as primary liaison with the publishing partner.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth.
  • Proactively identify organizational bottlenecks, risks, and resourcing gaps.
  • Define, manage, and deliver against clear development milestones, quality standards, and KPIs.
  • Contribute to and align with product and monetization strategy.
  • Deliver clear, strategic updates to studio leadership and publishing partners.
Good to have:
  • Experience with social or Web3 game integrations.
  • Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and data-informed design.
  • Familiarity with launching games across different territories and understanding global F2P trends.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Game Director / Executive Producer to lead the cross-functional development of an upcoming high-profile mobile game based on a globally recognized intellectual property. This role will be instrumental in managing and inspiring a multidisciplinary team across game design, engineering, art, production, analytics, and marketing.

The Game Director will serve as the key creative and operational leader on the project, partnering closely with our publishing partner to ensure vision alignment and high-quality execution across all phases of development. You will be expected to proactively identify issues, fill organizational gaps, and drive the team toward creative and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead the entire development cycle from concept to launch, ensuring delivery of a high-quality mobile game experience.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Management: Work across all departments including game design, art, engineering, production, analytics, and marketing to ensure unified vision and execution.
  • Publisher Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison with the publishing partner to ensure alignment on goals, milestones, quality benchmarks, and business objectives.
  • Team Empowerment: Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth within the team. Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to leads and department heads.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify organizational bottlenecks, technical or production risks, and team resourcing gaps—taking direct action or proposing solutions as needed.
  • Milestone Ownership: Define, manage, and deliver against clear development milestones, quality standards, and KPIs across game and business performance.
  • Product Strategy: Contribute to and align with product and monetization strategy, ensuring the game is scalable, engaging, and fits the F2P mobile marketplace.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Deliver clear, strategic updates to studio leadership and publishing partners with confidence, insight, and transparency.

Required Qualifications

  • Shipped Titles: Has shipped at least one free-to-play mobile game in the last 5 years as Game Director, EP, or similar leadership role—preferably using a top-tier IP (film, TV, comics, AAA franchise, etc.).
  • F2P Expertise: Deep understanding of the F2P mobile game market, including live ops, engagement loops, monetization design, and player lifecycle management.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage and inspire large, multidisciplinary teams across various phases of development.
  • Publisher-Facing: Demonstrated success in managing external publishing relationships and driving consensus between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Production Acumen: Experience working within Agile or hybrid production environments with a strong understanding of game pipelines and tools.
  • Creative Vision: Ability to balance creative vision with commercial realities and guide the team toward aligned, innovative execution.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with social or Web3 game integrations.
  • Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and data-informed design.
  • Familiarity with launching games across different territories and understanding global F2P trends.
