Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Graphics Performance Modelling Engineer. The role involves modeling and analyzing graphics algorithms and features using a C++ based cycle-accurate GPU performance model. Responsibilities include collaborating with architects, hardware, and software teams to prototype and evaluate next-generation architecture proposals, analyzing GPU workload performance to identify and root cause bottlenecks, and exploring alternative design options for performance and power efficiency. The engineer will also correlate performance between the model and RTL to enhance model accuracy and automate the performance analysis flow. For senior roles, responsibilities include supervising and providing technical guidance for end-to-end feature analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing novel solutions for performance/power optimization. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD with 1+ year of experience.
Must have:
  • Model graphics algorithms using C++ GPU performance model
  • Collaborate with HW/SW teams
  • Analyze GPU workload performance
  • Correlate model and RTL performance
  • Automate performance analysis
  • Experience in C/C++ and Python
  • Knowledge of Graphics/Computer architecture
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's or PhD in Engineering/CS
Good to have:
  • More than 5 years of industry experience (for senior role)
  • 6 - 15 years of industry experience
  • Graphics Programming experience: OpenGL/DirectX
  • Graphics Programming experience: OpenCL/CUDA/Vulkan

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Programming experience in: C/C++ and Python
    • Graphics/Computer architecture knowledge: Pipelines, Caches, Latency, Throughput, etc…
    • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
    • B.Tech/B.S. Or MTech/M.S or PhD in Electronics Engineering, Embedded, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
    • (For senior role) more than 5 years of relevant industry experience
    • Good to have:
      • 6 - 15Yrs years of relevant industry experience
      • Graphics Programming experience: OpenGL and/or DirectX, OpenCL and/or CUDA, Vulkan
