Job Description

Zams is seeking a Growth Generalist to build and scale its presence across social, community, and partnerships. This hands-on role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced startups, loves wearing multiple hats, and can execute end-to-end growth initiatives independently. You will drive Zams' public presence by building social audiences, cultivating the Slack user community, telling the company's story, and creating growth opportunities through partnerships and events. The ideal candidate loves growing audiences, building communities, and finding creative ways to gain traction, making an outsized impact in a rapidly evolving AI sales automation company.
Must have:
  • Own Zams’ presence on LinkedIn and Twitter/X, building a strong, engaged audience.
  • Create and share content that tells our story and positions Zams as a category leader.
  • Manage growth of followers, engagement, and reach through consistent, strategic posting.
  • Lead and grow our Slack user community, fostering engagement and advocacy.
  • Explore partnerships with creators, communities, and industry players.
  • Organize and support events that drive awareness and community connection.
  • Identify growth opportunities to get Zams in front of the right audiences.
  • Work with freelancers and agencies to produce content, videos, and campaigns.
  • Write compelling copy and manage distribution across channels.
  • Track and report on engagement, visibility, and community growth metrics.
  • Proven track record of growing social accounts with measurable audience growth and engagement.
  • Experience building and managing communities (Slack, Discord, or similar).
  • Strong storytelling ability for technical and business audiences.
  • Hands-on, self-starter attitude with ability to own and execute.
  • Startup experience, comfortable moving fast and learning by doing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build brand visibility, drive engagement, and create community value.
  • Experience in partnerships, events, or collaborations that drove measurable growth.

About You:

We’re looking for a Growth Generalist to build and scale Zams’ presence across social, community, and partnerships. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startups, loves wearing multiple hats, and can execute end-to-end growth initiatives without relying on a big team.

You’ll be the driver of how Zams shows up in the world: building an audience on social, cultivating our Slack user community, telling our story in a way that resonates, and creating opportunities for growth through partnerships and events. If you’re someone who loves growing audiences, building communities, and finding creative ways to get traction, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

Social (Core Focus)

  • Own Zams’ presence on LinkedIn and Twitter/X (+ other socials), building a strong, engaged audience.
  • Create and share content that tells our story, drives conversations, and positions Zams as a category leader.
  • Manage growth of followers, engagement, and reach through consistent, strategic posting.

Community (Core Focus)

  • Lead and grow our Slack user community where customers share ideas and learn how to use Zams.
  • Foster engagement through conversations, events, and content that helps users succeed.
  • Build a culture of sharing, collaboration, and advocacy within the community.

Partnerships & Events (Secondary Levers)

  • Explore partnerships with creators, communities, and industry players that expand brand visibility.
  • Organize and support events (virtual and IRL) that drive awareness and community connection.
  • Identify growth opportunities to get Zams in front of the right audiences.

Content & Execution

  • Work with freelancers and agencies (budget provided) to produce content, videos, and campaigns.
  • Write compelling copy and manage distribution across channels.
  • Track and report on engagement, visibility, and community growth metrics.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of growing social accounts (company or personal) with measurable audience growth and engagement.
  • Experience building and managing communities (Slack, Discord, or similar).
  • Strong storyteller who can create authentic content that resonates with technical and business audiences.
  • Hands-on, self-starter attitude — you’ll be the only person running growth, so you must own and execute.
  • Startup experience; comfortable moving fast, wearing multiple hats, and learning by doing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build brand visibility, drive engagement, and create community value.
  • Experience in partnerships, events, or collaborations that drove measurable growth.
