About the job:
As the Head of Partner Sales for Google Workspace, you will be responsible for building and performance managing a team of partner sales specialists and engineers. You will bring excellence and discipline to your team, including the execution of jointly accountable business plans with North America Workspace Partners. You will manage channel forecast accountability for all customer-facing opportunities in the region.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in channel sales
  • 5 years of people management experience
  • Experience with public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) markets
Good to have:
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 10 years of experience in a Partner Sales Manager role
  • Experience in channel business management or direct business management, and in enterprise and partner business
  • Knowledge of System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and the cloud ecosystem
  • Understanding of foundational cloud technologies
  • Excellent management, presentation, and communication skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $179,000-$255,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, and manage a team of partner sales specialists, coaching them through identifying the right Google partner for each opportunity from the portfolio of partners managed by Google.
  • Gain expertise in the Google Workspace business process, evaluating potential in assigned territories and developing structured territory plans.
  • Work with cross-functional Google account teams, including field sales representatives, customer engineers, and external partners, to enhance customer engagements and drive mutual success.
  • Drive partner/customer collaboration to help identify their unique needs and challenges both from a business and technical perspective.
  • Drive partners to provide exceptional customer support, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the business cycle.
