Job Description

This Human Resources Recruiter role at Penrose Studios involves leading the search for excellent candidates passionate about VR and AR. Responsibilities include managing the full-cycle recruiting process, advertising job openings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, reporting to team leads, evaluating candidates, determining qualification criteria, analyzing turnover, updating job descriptions, and answering candidate queries. The recruiter needs to be able to work in a quick changing environment. The preferred candidate has managerial experience and familiarity with tech startups as well as the CG film and gaming industries.

  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience using various interview formats.
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation.

  • B.S. in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • Ability to adapt in quick changing environment.
  • Familiarity with Google docs, Google spreadsheets, and Gmail.

We’re in need of a motivated and driven individual to lead our search in finding top quality candidates for the Penrose team and manage our full-cycle recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and directs all candidate outreach, interviews, and referrals for the organization’s team leads recruiting needs
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g. professional networks and portfolio sites)
  • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes in timely manner
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Report to team leads on the status of open positions
  • Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
  • Determine qualification criteria for each position
  • Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs
  • Update job descriptions (e.g. add tasks or modify requirements)
  • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter, Recruiter or similar role
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Experience using various interview formats (e.g. phone, structured, group)
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • B.S. in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Ability to adapt in quick changing environment
  • Familiarity with Google docs, Google spreadsheets, and Gmail

Preferred

  • Managerial experience
  • Familiarity of with tech startups as well as the CG film and gaming industries
