Hybrid Operator - LiveOps Tracking

What The Job Is All About:

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology in top-tier sports leagues as part of a passionate and dynamic team.

Your primary focus will be live operational delivery and ad-hoc setups/documentation of our tracking and replay technology for regular season games during the NBA/G-League/NFL/NHL seasons. You will be provided with comprehensive technical training, and once the training is complete, you will be assigned operational shifts.

Due to the nature of live sporting operations, In-season, you will need to be prepared to work nights, weekends, and federal holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting pre-game system checks in accordance with standard procedures and promptly resolving any issues that arise.
• Liaising daily with other Supervisors, Coordinators, and Leads across various projects.
• Communicating remotely with external clients and users from NBA/G-League, NFL, or NHL personnel via Slack.
• Monitoring live operations and ensuring data quality on a nightly basis.
• Assisting operators in providing real-time, quality data to MLB and NBA.
• Supporting any investigations related to live data quality.
• Reporting on and troubleshooting any hardware, software, or operational issues that impact data delivery.
• Proactively flagging and escalating issues that could prevent the delivery of live data to NBA/G-League, NFL, or NHL personnel.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• A solid technical foundation.
• The ability to professionally and approachably liaise and communicate with clients (via written English).
• Strong logical problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive and capable of taking initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to remain focused in a high-pressure, live sports environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a schedule dictated by game schedules, which may change at short notice (including weekends and holidays).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating Hawk-Eye systems.
• Experience using the Windows ecosystem and knowledge of networking principles.
• A keen interest in sports.
• A background in Data Analytics or Sports Analytics.
• Currently pursuing or holding a degree with a technical focus (e.g., science, technology, graphics, mathematics, or engineering) or equivalent relevant experience.
