Western Digital is seeking an Intern R&D Engineer to contribute to global innovation in data storage. This role involves developing and implementing project plans, managing schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely task completion. The intern will handle multiple projects, proactively identify risks, and provide solutions, while also gathering and summarizing data for project decisions. Must have:
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, balancing competing priorities.
  • Identify project risks and issues proactively and provide quick and effective solutions.
  • Gather and summarize data to support project decisions; prepare clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
  • The internship period must be at least 4-6 months.

  • Workable on-site full time
  • Self-confident and quick learning

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of tasks. Communicate deadlines clearly and follow up on deliverables to keep projects on track
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and quality
  • Identify project risks and issues proactively. Provide quick and effective solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity
  • Gather and summarize data to support project decisions. Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations to communicate project performance and insights to stakeholders

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field
  • The internship period must be at least 4-6 months

PREFERRED:

  • Workable on-site full time
  • Self-confident and quick learning

SKILLS:

  • Time management and project execution
  • Skill in make animations and presentation
  • Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (Written and Listening)
