Join Sportradar, a leading global sports technology company, as a Junior Accountant in Vienna/Linz, Austria. This permanent, full-time role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations for international companies within the Sportradar Group. You will handle journal processing, invoice management, payment runs, reconciliations, and support month-end closing. This position offers career progression in a dynamic, fast-growing business, reporting to the Accounting team lead.
Must have:
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as journal processing in Dynamics 365, process incoming invoices, expense claims, prepare payment runs, maintain supplier details, support tax return preparation (VAT)
  • Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank, creditor/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlement (control) accounts
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and requests
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments
  • Assist with auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting
  • Understanding of IFRS is essential
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Professional MS Office skills – especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
Good to have:
  • Preferably experience in an international company or BIG4
  • German language skills
  • Dynamic 365 accounting software knowledge

We are currently hiring Junior Accountant in our centralized accounting team for Sportradar Group.

This exciting opportunity has opened to assist with day-to-day accounting operations for international companies within the Sportradar Group. The role will offer career progression and you will improve your skills leading to a successful career as a qualified accountant.

Junior Accountant reports to the Accounting team lead. This role would suit an ambitious, energetic person keen to progress further in dynamic, fast-growing business.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as journal processing in Dynamics 365, process incoming invoices, expense claims, prepare payment runs, maintain supplier details, support tax return preparation (VAT)
  • Prepare reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank, creditor/debtors, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, settlement (control) accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and requests

YOUR PROFILE:
