PwC is seeking a Junior Compliance Analyst for a US client, focusing on regulatory compliance and risk management. The role involves advising clients, enhancing internal controls, and facilitating adherence to ethical standards. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The analyst will be a contributing team member, expected to adapt, take ownership, and deliver quality work. This includes applying a learning mindset, understanding diverse perspectives, and gathering information to analyze facts and discern patterns. The role supports various Acceleration Center services, providing distinctive services to client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation, with dynamic and digitally enabled training to grow technical and professional skills. The Personal Independence team contributes to ensuring compliance with PwC's independence policy to prevent and correct non-compliance violations affecting PwC partners and staff. The team oversees compliance activities, promotes adherence to external and internal policies, laws, and regulations, and manages regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk. The role involves developing and designing effective initiatives for managing E&C programs, including compliance program assessments, development, transformation, risk assessment, and industry regulatory compliance. Specialists work as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution, demonstrating critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Independence, Ethics and Business Conduct team you contribute to the Personal Independence team. As a Specialist you provide specialized advice, handle technical tasks, and conduct in-depth analyzes to support specific projects. You are expected to adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver exceptional results that drive benefits for clients and contribute to the team's success.

A career in Ethics & Compliance (E&C) will allow you to be part of an experienced team that protects PwC’s reputation by applying and upholding the firm’s independence policy to prevent and correct non-compliance violations that affect PwC partners and staff. Our E&C team is responsible for oversight of all compliance activities by our PwC professionals. As part of the team, you’ll help promote and monitor compliance with applicable external and internal policies, laws and regulations and subsequently, manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation and reputational risk. 

 

Our team helps PwC develop and design effective initiatives that help us proactively manage our E&C programs. You’ll assist through all stages of the E&C life cycle including compliance program assessments, development and transformation, risk assessment, and industry regulatory compliance.

Preferred academic background/education:
 

  • Students or graduates in: Law, Translation, International Studies, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Political Sciences, Management, with an interest in developing a career in Compliance. 

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience. 

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing (English/Spanish). 

  • Knowledge of US and MX financial products is a plus.
