Job Description

The engineer will contribute to the Linux product team in debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues for Qualcomm chipsets. The job involves excellent debugging skills, particularly in core kernel software. The candidate should possess excellent knowledge of the Linux kernel, device driver models, and ARM architecture. Expertise in C programming is crucial. Strong understanding of Linux distributions such as Yocto, Ubuntu, and RedHat is also required. The candidate should be self-motivated, a quick learner, and willing to explore various technology areas while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Must Have:

Excellent debug skills in core kernel software
Knowledge of Linux kernel and device driver model
Knowledge of ARM architecture
Expert level knowledge of C
Understanding of Linux distributions
Bachelor's degree in related field
2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
