Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, seeking a Senior/Lead Solution Engineer for their Northern Europe team, supporting customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Iceland. This role involves owning solutions throughout the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership, and transforming customer experiences. The Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor, translating business objectives into practical recommendations, and working on critical initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the team. The ideal candidate embodies Salesforce’s core values: Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality.
Must have:
  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value.
  • Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other high-performing teams.
  • Industry experience, incorporating and developing a point of view based on Salesforce’s solutions.
  • Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of Salesforce to customers at every level.
  • Present compelling Salesforce & partner solutions while supporting relationships with customers and partners.
  • Display initiative, self motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all expectations.
  • Understanding the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers.
  • Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success for a software solution organisation.
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic, energising environments.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally.

  • Speaking one of the languages of the Northern Europe countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland).

  • We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Lead Solution Engineer to join our Northern Europe Solution Engineering team supporting our customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland. Northern Europe is a dynamic region with lots of exciting growth companies across many industries. Excellent communication skills are a must and while it would be an advantage to speak one of the languages of the countries listed above in many cases it is also possible to do business in English across the region.

What is a Lead/Senior Senior Solution Engineer?

Also known as a ‘Presales Consultant’, ‘Sales Consultant’, or ‘Sales Engineer’, the Solution Engineer is responsible for owning the solutions throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to companies to transform their customer’s experience. Solution Engineers are part of the UKI Sales team and are experts who work alongside their colleagues, participate in building our team culture and support their aligned sales team to create AI, Data, and CRM solutions for new prospects and customers. To accomplish this, you should have a strong desire to set the vision translating business objectives into enticing and practical recommendations. The Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor to our customers while aiding the customer’s transformational journey. In addition to working on sales opportunities and supporting marketing events, you will also get a chance to work on exciting critical initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the Solution Engineering team and to grow your personal profile within Salesforce. Your Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value
  • Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other high-performing teams.
  • Industry experience, incorporating and developing a point of view based on Salesforce’s solutions.
  • To fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of Salesforce to customers at every level, examples include; Administration/IT Staff, managers and "C" level executives.
  • Present compelling Salesforce & partner solutions while supporting relationships with customers and partners.
  • Display initiative, self motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all expectations

Personal Attributes/Experience:

  • Understanding the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers.
  • Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success for a software solution organisation. We are open to a variety of backgrounds for the role.
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic, energising environments.
