Lead Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic Data resource with hands-on expertise in Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Presentation skills (both Slide decks and Dashboards). The ideal person should be able to analyze complex datasets, extract actionable insights, and communicate findings clearly through compelling visualizations and presentations. Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is essential, along with the ability to tailor insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Data-Driven Analysis & Management

• Work on data-heavy projects involving data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineers to ensure data models align with business goals.
• Perform data analysis to validate business problems, identify trends, and inform solution design.
• Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Expert in crafting high-impact PowerPoint presentations and building interactive, data-driven dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Excel) with strong visual storytelling and executive-ready insights.

Client Engagement & Project Leadership

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications, clarifying business needs, and ensuring expectations are aligned.
• Lead and manage AI/ML and data based projects with end-to-end accountability on business analysis deliverables.
• Address and resolve client queries promptly and effectively.

Solution Design & Business Workflow Mapping

• Understand and map current and future state business workflows.
• Analyze customer requirements and propose AI/ML or automation solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Collaborate with solution architects and data scientists to shape technically feasible and impactful solutions.

Feature Validation & Release Management

• Validate developed features against business requirements and perform UAT with stakeholders.
• Create and manage release items, documentation, and change logs.
• Provide post-release support, triage issues, and coordinate fixes with tech teams.

Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking

• Apply structured thinking to break down complex business problems and recommend optimal solutions.
• Use critical thinking to assess risks, dependencies, and trade-offs in proposed features or models.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• 6–10 years of experience in data analysis, with proven experience in AI/ML or data-driven projects.
• PowerPoint expert skilled in crafting executive-ready slides with clear storytelling, on-brand design, and data visualization that drives decisions.
• Familiarity with large language models, machine learning workflows, and data platforms.
• Strong data literacy with the ability to analyze and interpret structured/unstructured data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Lucidchart, etc.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Generative AI tools and prompt engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
• Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) will be add-on.
• Experience in industries like legal tech, BFSI, or enterprise SaaS preferred
