This Lead Java Full stack Developer position at Infosys involves interacting with stakeholders, defining application architecture, and delivering high-quality code. The role requires leading validation and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty activities. The candidate will be part of a collaborative learning environment. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time and extensive travel may be required. Responsibilities include software development, and project lifecycle activities.
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 4 years of IT experience.
- Experience in Java and React JS.
Good to have:
- Experience with DevOps using Maven, Jenkins, GITLab/GITHub, TeamCity, Nexus, Terraform, Selenium, SonarCube, Fortify.
- Exposure to Agile methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
- Familiarity with security concepts.

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full stack Developer.
This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Johnston RI or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in Java and React JS.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in Java, React JS & UI Technologies.
- At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
- At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Experience in DevOPS using Maven, Jenkins, GITLab/GITHub,TeamCity, Nexus, Terraform, Selenium, SonarCube, Fortify.
- Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution will be an added advantage.
- Understand importance of automated testing and different levels at which these need to be performed-all developers will have to write and implement tests as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Ability to communicate with business team and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Ability to interact with multiple stake holders at onsite such as DBA, Infrastructure team, Network team, Business, Architecture group .
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced matrix environment.
- Familiarity with security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewalls and multi-protocol gateways, Secured token Exchanges.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs
