Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor on the Night Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 PM - 7 AM), you will lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, ensuring safety rules are applied and maintenance tasks meet KPI targets. You will be responsible for training, mentoring, and managing daily operations, including absenteeism, holidays, and safety enforcement. This role requires 3+ years of experience in Maintenance Supervision within a high-speed manufacturing environment, with prior experience as a Maintenance Technician in an automated facility.
Must have:
  • Ensure safety rules (LOTO procedure) are known and applied by the team.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are done, respecting Maintenance KPIs targets.
  • Train and mentor Mechanical and Electrical Technicians in automated equipment repair.
  • Prepare scheduled maintenance tasks and communicate to the team.
  • Be responsible for induction of all newcomers in their areas.
  • Ensure organization and scheduling of training actions for procedures, tools, and standards.
  • Ensure team is trained to Line QRQC, Maintenance QRQC, Maintenance 5 WHYs, red tags use.
  • Manage daily: absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, KPIs.
  • Ensure standards of reaction are applied and perform escalation according to standards.
  • Follow up main objectives in monthly meetings with the team.
  • Conduct annual appraisals and salary reviews.
  • Ensure enforcement of health, safety, environmental and site rules.
  • Ensure existence of updated maintenance work instructions.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure that safety rules for maintenance activities (such as LOTO procedure) are known and applied by its team
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are done, respecting Maintenance KPIs targets in its perimeter
  • Train and mentor Mechanical Technicians and Electrical Technicians in automated equipment repair
  • Prepare the scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring communication to the Maintenance team
  • Be responsible for induction of all newcomers in their areas
  • Ensure the organization and scheduling of training actions so that they are aware of all the procedures, tools and standards
  • Ensure that their team is trained to Line QRQC, Maintenance QRQC, Maintenance 5 WHYs, red tags use, and that they understand what they have to do and when
  • Manage daily: absenteeism, holidays, safety rules enforcement, environment risk analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards
  • Follow up main objectives in monthly meetings with his/her team
  • Conduct annual appraisals, as well as salary reviews
  • Ensure enforcement of health, safety, environmental and site rules in its perimeter, and that anybody entering
  • Ensure existence of updated maintenance work instructions for his/her perimeter

What You Should Have

  • You preferably have a Bachelor’s degree, but experience in lieu of education will be considered
  • You have 3+ years of experience in Maintenance Supervision for a high-speed manufacturing company
  • Prior or current experience as a Maintenance Technician in a high-speed automated facility
