Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Growth Lifecycle Marketing Manager to drive revenue growth from our existing customer base through data-driven nurtures and segmented customer experiences. This role focuses on increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and retention via lifecycle marketing programs. You will develop upsell and cross-sell strategies, guiding customers through value realization journeys using behavioral insights and compelling storytelling to create personalized experiences that drive demand for expansion opportunities. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives on customer-centric growth strategies and has a proven track record of turning customer data into revenue-generating marketing programs.
Must have:
  • Design and implement lifecycle marketing programs that drive upsell demand from existing customers, including automated nurture sequences and triggered campaigns
  • Leverage Customer Data Platform (CDP) to analyze customer behavior, usage patterns, and engagement metrics and develop customer segmentation strategies and journey maps
  • Monitor and strategize to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including program engagement, MQL (Marketing Qualified Leads), MQL conversion rates, and self-service purchases
  • Create detailed customer personas and behavioral segments to inform the creation of customer journey maps that identify key expansion moments
  • Coordinate with analytics teams to measure campaign impact and ROI
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to coordinate outreach to expansion-ready accounts, ensuring consistent messaging across customer touchpoints
  • 5+ years of B2B lifecycle marketing experience with demonstrated focus on customer growth and retention
  • Data-driven decision maker who balances analytical insights with creative marketing approaches
  • Hands-on experience with customer engagement platforms (Braze, Marketo, Customer.io, or other) and familiarity working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in customer segmentation, A/B testing, and performance measurement
  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS customer lifecycle and demand funnel
  • Exceptional writing skills with ability to create compelling, conversion-focused content for SMB audiences

About the Roll:

We're seeking a Customer Growth Lifecycle Marketing Manager to unlock revenue growth from our existing customer base through data-driven nurtures and segmented customer experiences. This role sits on the Customer Marketing Growth team and is focused on driving ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) growth and retention through lifecycle marketing programs.

You'll be responsible for developing upsell and cross-sell strategies that guide customers through value realization journeys. Using deep customer behavioral insights and compelling storytelling, you'll create personalized experiences that drive customer demand toward expansion opportunities. This role is supported by marketing operations, analytics, and a best-in-class creative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement lifecycle marketing programs that drive upsell demand from existing customers, including automated nurture sequences and triggered campaigns
  • Leverage Customer Data Platform (CDP) to analyze customer behavior, usage patterns, and engagement metrics and develop customer segmentation strategies and journey maps
  • Monitor and strategize to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including program engagement, MQL (Marketing Qualified Leads), MQL conversion rates (including traffic: MQL and MQL: Opp), and self-service purchases
  • Create detailed customer personas and behavioral segments to inform the creation of customer journey maps that identify key expansion moments

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).

Pay Range

$100,000—$160,000 USD
