Job Description

The Manager CX role involves developing and executing personalized, multi-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Responsibilities include utilizing SFMC modules, managing customer data, using SQL and AMPscript for personalization, developing customer journeys, and implementing dynamic content strategies. The role also requires acting as an SFMC subject matter expert, staying updated on best practices, and providing support to internal teams.
Must have:
  • Develop and optimize marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Utilize SFMC modules such as Email Studio and Journey Builder.
  • Manage and maintain customer data for targeted campaigns.
  • Use SQL, AMPscript, and Data Extensions within SFMC.
  • Develop customer journeys and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Implement dynamic content and personalization strategies.
Good to have:
  • Agency experience with client-facing roles and agile project management.
  • Familiarity with other campaign orchestration platforms like SAS or Oracle.
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, MJML, and CSS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and optimize personalized, multi-channel marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Leverage SFMC modules like Email Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, 
  • Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio to create targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, email scheduling, and A/B testing.
  • Manage and maintain customer data, ensuring proper segmentation for targeted campaigns.
  • Utilize SQL, AMPscript, and Data Extensions within SFMC to enhance personalization and automation.
  • Develop customer journeys and lifecycle marketing campaigns using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Implement dynamic content and personalization strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Enhance marketing efficiency through trigger-based automation and AI-driven recommendations.
  • Act as the SFMC subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to internal teams.
  • Stay updated on SFMC best practices, new features, and industry trends.
  • Support Campaign Architects, as required, with platform configuration, development and optimization tasks and in enforcing best practices
  • Provide campaign QA, testing and deployment support to other developers, campaign specialists and QA resources
  • Work closely with project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous campaign projects and change controls
  • Provide support to senior team members throughout project estimation and Campaign discovery engagements, as needed
  • Provide support to internal Campaign Operations team for ongoing campaign platform, workflow and template optimizations, as needed


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related business or technology field, or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years experience in a Software Development role working with data driven applications
  • Proficiency in SFMC (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing, automation, and CRM integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced data modeler in relational database systems
  • Experienced writing SQL queries for Select/Insert/Update/Delete, including knowledge of multi-table joins and outer joins
  • Experienced with JavaScript, JSON and XML
  • Experience or familiarity with HTML, MJML, CSS and responsive email coding a plus (but not required)
  • Agency experience preferred, with experience in a client-facing role and knowledge of overall agency structures and agile project management methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with other industry-leading Campaign orchestration platforms a plus (such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SAS, Redpoint, Oracle or similar)
