We are seeking a dedicated manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for software tooling that streamlines and optimizes demo content creation and digital experience delivery to Apple stores worldwide. This role involves leading an engineering team in designing and implementing tooling and automation to support innovative digital experiences in stores. The candidate will understand the end-to-end process of demo content creation, including scripts, software tools, and teams, and contribute to the overall design, roadmap, performance analysis, and optimization of these tools. A key responsibility includes building a management system to ensure technical requirements align with business needs, providing relevant executive communications on project status, collaborating with partner teams for timely feature delivery, and monitoring system performance and reliability for content production.

The Retail Technology Engineering team designs, develops and deploys apps and digital experiences that shape the future of Apple Retail stores globally. You'll be a part of a dynamic team of full stack engineers, who work in partnership with various Apple teams, to deliver innovative, scalable solutions to tens of thousands of Apple devices across 500+ stores worldwide. We’re seeking a dedicated manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for software tooling that streamlines and optimizes demo content creation and digital experience delivery to Apple stores worldwide. Successful candidates are humble, curious, creative, tenacious, organized, have clarity of thought and can lead through ambiguity. - Lead an engineering team that designs and implements tooling and automation supporting the delivery of innovative digital experiences in stores - Understand the end to end process of demo content creation/production, including scripts, software tools and teams. Contribute to overall design, roadmap, performance analysis and optimization of tools - Build management system to ensure technical requirements are aligned with business needs and are resourced and sequenced appropriately. Provide relevant executive communications tied to project status - Collaborate with partner teams to ensure timely delivery of features, or to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies - Monitor the performance and reliability of the systems involved in content production, implementing improvements as needed to optimize operations
