You are responsible for providing initial support to production workers, resolving routine issues, maintaining records, troubleshooting process issues, ensuring adherence to standards, and assisting in engineering and commissioning activities to optimize manufacturing systems and workflows. The role involves analyzing production dynamics, calculating yields, participating in daily meetings, and fostering cross-functional relationships. Safety, audit support, and continuous improvement are key, operating under supervision with PLM system knowledge.

  • Provide guidance and training during implementation processes
  • Focus on safety considerations for material usage and processes
  • Support audit processes, CAPA, CIPs, NCRs, and internal projects
  • Operate under detailed instruction and a supplied task list
  • Possess good knowledge and usage of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • High School degree
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process or assembly line environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic English skills
Good to have:
  • Knowledge on manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge in problem solving methodologies (5 Whys, Ishikawas, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable on ISO 13485 and/or CFR Part 820

Job Description

Manufacturing Technician 2 - Shift: A

You are responsible for providing initial support to production workers, resolving routine issues, maintaining records, troubleshooting process issues, ensuring adherence to standards, and assisting in engineering and commissioning activities to optimize manufacturing systems and workflows.

Your role:

  • Engage in Gemba walks to understand production line dynamics, analyze scrap codes using troubleshooting methodologies, and execute process validations and qualifications, including Installation Qualification Protocols.
  • Calculate first pass yields to support productivity analysis aimed at increasing efficiency, participate in daily management meetings, and utilize tools such as STMs, TMVs, and PRIDE for analyzing situations.
  • Foster relationships with operators, production leads, supervisors, maintenance technicians, and engineers to support cross-functional team requests and project execution, while providing guidance and training during implementation processes.
  • Focus on safety considerations for material usage and processes, support audit processes, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and internal projects, including Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis.
  • Operate under detailed instruction and a supplied task list, often under the supervision of a manufacturing engineer, while possessing good knowledge and usage of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to support problem-solving and training initiatives.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a High School degree, preferably with knowledge on manufacturig processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process or assembly line environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledagle in problem solving methodologies ( 5 Whys, Ishikawas, etc.)is preferred. Knowledgable on ISO 13485 and/or CFR Part 820 is preferred.
  • Basic English skills are required for this position.
