Job Description
As a Marketing Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for supporting operational processes and leveraging data analytics to provide insights to improve operative performance and meet business demands in the APAC region. You will integrate multiple external reports into Tableau or Power BI for data analysis. You will work on generating complex dashboards, reports, scorecards, visualizations, and ad hoc reports, sharing insights, administering systems, organizing and archiving data, streamlining and automating analytics reporting processes, assisting with the migration of reports to automated dashboards, undertaking competitor research, and collating and measuring campaign performance. This role involves using various reporting tools and requires excellent organizational skills.
Must Have:
- High school diploma or related field degree.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Foundation in Python scripting and Power App development.
- Proficient with Python, SQL, data visualization tools and dash-boarding technologies (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel & other Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments.
As a Marketing Analytics Intern, you will play an integral part in growing Penumbra's footprint in the APAC region and be primary responsible for supporting operation processes, and leveraging data analytics to provide insights to improve operative performance to meet business demands. The main responsibility will be to integrate multiple external reports into Tableau or Power BI to cross reference data for analytics.
What You’ll Work On
• Work with sales, marketing, and IT functions to secure and acquire data from relevant data sources.
• Assist in generating complex dashboards, reports, scorecards, visualizations, and ad hoc reports according to requirements in various reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Effectively sharing insights and intelligence with concerned units, via Tableau or process automation.
• Administer systems, organize and archival of data in the associated artifacts and generate system specific reports for circulation.
• Assist with the effort to streamline and automate all analytics reporting processes.
• Assist with migration of existing reports to automated dashboards.
• Undertaking competitor research and analysis to establish trends and behaviors.
• Collate and measure performance of campaigns, report on marketing metrics like leads, conversion rates and customer intent.
What You Contribute
• A High school diploma and currently enrolled in university or recently completed a degree in information technology, computer science, computer or software engineering, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Foundation in Python scripting and Power App development
• Proficient with Python, SQL, data visualization tools and dash-boarding technologies (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel & other Microsoft Office programs (MS Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site and remote from home office. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
