Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Materials Leader to drive excellence across our materials value chain — from supplier to production line to finished goods warehouse. This role will own Procurement & Fulfillment, Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Warehousing to ensure uninterrupted supply, optimized stock levels, and efficient material flows.
Must have:
  • Lead and develop teams in Procurement, Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Warehousing.
  • Ensure on-time, in-full material availability for production schedules.
  • Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Establish and maintain robust production planning processes aligned with sales and operations planning (S&IOP).
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies to achieve target turns, reduce excess/obsolete stock, and improve working capital.
  • Optimize warehouse space, inventory accuracy, and material handling efficiency.
  • Implement lean, data-driven practices to improve cost, speed, and quality.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet customer commitments.
  • Own key KPIs: OTIF, inventory turns, days of supply, material cost savings, supplier OTD, and warehouse accuracy.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams in Procurement, Production Planning, Inventory Management, and Warehousing.
  • Ensure on-time, in-full material availability for production schedules.
  • Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Establish and maintain robust production planning processes aligned with sales and operations planning (S&IOP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 20+ years’ experience in materials management or supply chain leadership.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-functional materials teams for at least 10 years.
  • Strong ERP/Oracle knowledge and analytical capability.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
