Job Description

The Media Planning & Viewer Experience Coordinator will support the Content and Acquisitions team by creating and developing strategies for content and programs. Key responsibilities include creating promotional strategies for on-air, non-linear, cross & barter, managing sponsored content, leading monthly operations meetings, analyzing post-campaign performance, and collaborating with programming, on-air, and marketing teams to balance content and promotions.
Must have:
  • Create and develop strategies for programs and other content to promote them (on-air promos, dekos, non-linear, cross & barter strategies)
  • Manage sponsored dekos for clients, ensuring placement and agreement compliance
  • Lead monthly meetings with the operations team to provide guidance and establish priorities
  • Analyze post-campaign projects and competition to evaluate performance
  • Create workflows for log schedules and assist with department efficiency
  • Strategize on promo inclusion, quantity, and opening/closing options
  • Work with programming to understand channel content and provide guidelines
  • Create program templates to balance programs with commercials
  • Work with On-Air to balance promos and maintain brand look & feel
  • Collaborate with Marketing on current projects to promote movies, parks, and content
  • Run projects and assist with proposals, runs, and promos for on-air placement
  • 2+ years’ experience in Media, Entertainment or Advertising industries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Possess high attention to detail
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Intermediate English
Good to have:
  • Demonstrable passion and knowledge for content (Film/TV)
  • Background in operations and media is preferred
  • Experience working with Latin America to understand practices, rules, regulations, and markets
  • Possesses creative, logical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines effectively
  • Knowledge/proficiency with programs such as Landmark, Mediator

Job Description

The Media Planning & Viewer Experience Coordinator will support the Content and Acquisitions team by creating and developing strategies for content and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop strategies for programs and other content in order to promote them. On-air promos, dekos, non-linear, cross & barter strategies
  • Manage sponsored dekos for clients and ensure that they are placed/logged in accordance to their agreement and make sure needs are met
  • Lead monthly meetings with the operations team to give them guidance & guidelines for the channels. Establish priorities & goals for that month
  • Analyze post-campaign projects and competition in other markets to evaluate our own performance & see how their promotions are being done
  • Create workflows for log schedules & assist them with making priorities and helping departments become more efficient
  • Strategize on which promos to include, how many per program, opening and closing options, etc.
  • Work with programming to give guidelines and understand what is in the channels
  • Create program templates to help balance programs with commercials
  • Work with On-Air to balance the number of promos as well as helping with the “look & feel” of the brands in the promos
  • Work with Marketing with current projects to help promote movies, parks, and other content
  • Run projects and help with the proposals and other things such as runs and promos in order to put them on air

Desired Characteristics

  • Demonstrable passion and knowledge for content (Film/TV)
  • Possesses a background in operations and media is preferred
  • Experience working with Latin America in order to understand the different practices, rules, regulations, and markets
  • Possesses creative, logical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work with tight deadlines & prioritize effectively

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience Media, Entertainment or Advertising industries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Knowledge/proficiency with programs such as Landmark, Mediator a plus
  • Possess high attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in media communications or relevant field
  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish and Intermediate English
