Job Summary: This position is required to conduct medical training delivery activities to the customer, both theory and skill based. This position requires domestic travel and typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works with the wider training team to support the provision of medical training to the customer
• Delivers theory and practical lessons as applicable to the training audience
• Provides medical instructions and interventions, with an ability to adapt to changes to training, techniques and procedures as advised by the customer
• For military specific training, lessons will be delivered according to but not limited by the Care of Battle Casualty (CBC), Army First Aid (AFA), Combat First Aid (CFA) and other appropriate references as prescribed and briefed.
• Provides expert Observer Training Support (in close cooperation with the customer and or sub-contractors
• Provides assistant activity support for individual, small team and larger group medical training activities which may encompass the Advanced Medical Trauma Training and Collective Combat Medical Training packages provided by the ADF.
• Able to work within specified timeframes and at times austere environments by day and by night, whilst in support of military / paramilitary / resource sector training scenarios
• Works with other external agencies and instructors to deliver the product to the customer
• Provides support to the Training Services team as an additional team member for other medical related training tasks

Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
• Must be able to provide evidence of one of the following to ensure current clinical practice knowledge:
• Certificate of practice in your State Ambulance Service, and/or current membership in the Australian Health Practitioner Regulator Agency (AHPRA) – Paramedic
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Evidence of provision of pre-hospital clinical care on a regular basis
• Experienced in theoretical and practical instructional methods highly desirable
• Experience in theoretical and practical instructional methods is highly desirable
• A military medical background is highly desirable
Personal Qualities
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organisation skills / interoperability and flexibility
