The Content Creation Technology Group (CCTG) at Ubisoft is seeking a Senior ML Ops to join a team developing machine learning solutions to enhance player experience, including a project on bots simulating competing players. This role involves defining best practices and design principles for an ambitious feature roadmap. Responsibilities include designing and optimizing ML systems, industrializing ML projects, creating tools for model integration, and collaborating with various teams.
Must have:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Content Creation Technology Group (CCTG) is looking for a Senior ML Ops who will work within a team that develops machine learning solutions to improve the player experience, including a project on bots aimed at simulating real competing players. The role of the Senior ML Ops will be to define best practices and design principles to help the team deliver our ambitious feature roadmap.

Main responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine learning systems and schemas based on business requirements and objectives.
  • Optimize existing solutions to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the industrialization of machine learning projects, focusing on the creation of pipelines and workflow operations.
  • Adapt and improve the use of models, facilitate the use of tools, and adapt them to user needs.
  • Create tools to support and integrate machine learning models into a multi-process pipeline.
  • Improve existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with game production teams, data science team, research team, and other stakeholders.

Other responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest technological advancements.
  • Documentation, presentations, and knowledge sharing to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Creation of proofs of concept to meet product direction requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent. A specialization in machine learning is an asset.

Relevant experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in machine learning.

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of a production machine learning pipeline; from training and deployment of machine learning to monitoring model performance/behavioral-drift.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
  • Good knowledge of MLOps platforms such as Databricks and/or ClearML.
  • Good knowledge of container technology such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of the basics of machine learning and deep learning.
  • Good knowledge of cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of database products is a plus.
