Job Description

As NDT Sales Specialist, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - South Region (Iberia, Italy), you will be responsible for driving sales growth through technical expertise, customer engagement, and a strategic market approach. Your typical day will involve market analysis, defining and following up on account plans, providing technical and commercial support to customers, achieving sales targets, planning regular customer visits, creating leads and opportunities, preparing technical and economical offers, following up on opportunities until closure, reporting activity in CRM Sales Force, attending exhibitions and marketing events, designing and conducting local workshops and seminars, product installation, and customer training.
Must have:
  • Analysis of the market in sales area and yearly Action Plans
  • Define and follow up Account Plans
  • Support commercial and technically to customers
  • Achieve sales target in sales area
  • Plan regular visits to customer facilities
  • Create leads and Opportunities
  • Do technical and economical offers
  • Regular follow up of opportunities until closure
  • Report opportunities follow up and activity in CRM Sales Force
  • Attend Exhibitions and marketing events
  • Design, schedule, and do local workshops and Seminars
  • Product installation and customer training
  • Support technically to distributor ADG in the south of Italy
  • Engineering degree
  • +5 years experience in NDT-related industries
  • NDT technique knowledge and experience
  • Good proficiency of English and Italian
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Sales & Commercial skills
  • Availability to travel in the assigned area and Europe
Good to have:
  • Italian Industry Market knowledge

Who will you be working with?

Evident Inspection Technologies, a Wabtec company, is a world leader in the manufacture of innovative inspection equipment used in industrial and research applications in the aerospace, power generation, petrochemical, civil infrastructure, automotive and consumer products industries. We offer a wide range of ultrasonic and eddy current flaw detection software and equipment. Our equipment is used, among other things, to inspect welds, detect hidden cracks, voids, porosity, and other internal irregularities in various materials.

How will you make a difference?

As NDT Sales Specialist, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - South Region (Iberia, Italy), you will be responsible to drive sales growth through technical expertise, customer engagement, and strategic market approach.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Analysis of the market in his sales area and do yearly Action Plans
  • Define and follow up Account Plans.
  • Support commercial and technically to the customers, support Technically to Inside Sales (Technical advice or demo in customer facilities).
  • Get the sales target sales in his sales area
  • Plan regular visits to customer facilities.
  • Create leads and Opportunities
  • Do technical and economical offers
  • Regular follow up of the opportunities created until to close them.
  • Report opportunities follow up and activity in the CRM Sales Force.
  • Attend Exhibitions and marketing events.
  • Design, schedule, a do local workshops and Seminars.
  • Product installation and customer training.
  • Support technically to our distributor ADG in the south of Italy

Area to cover: Vall D’Aosta, Piemonte, Liguria, Toscana, Emilia Romagna and Malta and Support to ADG distributor in the south of Italy.

  • Engineering degree
  • +5 years experience in NDT-related industries
  • NDT technique knowledge and experience
  • Good proficiency of English and Italian
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Sales & Commercial skills
  • Italian Industry Market knowledge is considered a plus
  • Availability to travel in the assigned area and Europe for internal meetings and training
