Job Description

Boomi is seeking a NetSuite Functional Principal Consultant to join their Information Technology team in Bangalore, India. The role involves supporting, maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing the organization’s financial systems, specifically focusing on NetSuite. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, architecting and implementing complex NetSuite financial solutions in areas like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report. The consultant will work closely with the finance team, acting as a trusted advisor and NetSuite expert, configuring the system to support business requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Key tasks also include managing data imports/exports, administering the NetSuite instance, documenting test scenarios, leading UAT, and customizing reports and saved searches. The role also involves documenting requirements and developing solutions for other finance systems that integrate with NetSuite.
Good To Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
  • NetSuite certifications
Must Have:
  • 8+ years of NetSuite Functional experience
  • Deep understanding of NetSuite financial functionalities
  • Proven track record of leading successful NetSuite implementations
  • Ability to gather requirements and solve problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What you’ll achieve

In this role as a NetSuite Functional Principal Consultant, you will support, maintain, optimize and enhance the organization’s financial systems.

 

What You Will Do 

  • Gather, design, architect and implement complex NetSuite financial solutions in the areas of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report

  • Work with the finance team to configure NetSuite to support business requirements

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the finance team, serving as a trusted advisor and NetSuite expert

  • Provide subject matter expertise on NetSuite best practices, configuration, and customization options

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, working with users to implement changes that enhance their business processes

  • Manage mass imports and exports of data.

  • Administer Boomi NetSuite instance - maintain users, roles, security, profiles

  • Document test scenarios and lead UAT with business users and help with any user training process.

  • Customize financial Reports, standard reports and saved searches as per the Requirement

  • Document requirements and develop solutions with other finance systems that integrate with NetSuite such as Tesorio, FloQast, Concur and payroll.

 

Essential Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of NetSuite Functional experience.

  • Deep understanding of NetSuite financial functionalities.

  • Proven track record of leading successful NetSuite implementations.

  • The ability to gather requirements from stakeholders, manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently. 

  • Takes ownership and responsibility for one’s own work and professional career development.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • NetSuite certifications are highly desirable.
