The Operations Manager for NextGen is primarily responsible for supporting the Central NextGen Group Leader and team by providing administrative excellence, strategic project management, and leadership in organizational communication. This role ensures that the NextGen ministry executes with clarity, efficiency, and alignment across campuses, helping reach families, students, kids, and parents. This role(operationally) supports the team's direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.
What You’ll Do
- Manage/lead the team’s projects and initiatives
- Strategize, manage, and execute projects related to LC Parents, including social media planning and content flow.
- Lead and coordinate key NextGen events, such as Family Reunion, OSM, Inside Out, and Team Time gatherings.
- Drive creative ideation for parent partnerships between Central and campuses.
- Manage communication on behalf of Central NextGen to other teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Capture, organize, and delegate action steps from meetings, ensuring consistent follow-through across initiatives.
- Oversee and respond to the NextGen central email account with professionalism and care.
- Serve as a representative of the Central NextGen team in collaboration with other central teams across Life.Church.
- Support the team’s daily operations
- Provide direct support to the Central NextGen Group Leader, including scheduling, travel, meetings, and pastoral care coordination.
- Manage the purchasing card for the Central NextGen Group Leader with accuracy and financial integrity.
- Maintain effective systems and processes to ensure organizational efficiency and alignment across NextGen ministry efforts.
Skills Needed to Succeed
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the discernment to represent NextGen well across all teams.
- Experience leading projects and events from ideation to execution.
- Creativity and vision for partnering with parents and families in ministry.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while holding confidentiality and integrity at the highest level.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of related work experience.
