Job Description

Hogarth, a Global Content Experience Company and part of WPP, seeks an Offline Editor in Wuxi, China. This role involves efficiently completing editing tasks, communicating with production and creative teams, and performing script-based editing. The editor will provide feedback on video shooting and editing issues, offer post-production ideas, and collaborate on-location shoots. The position also includes guiding junior team members to meet project requirements.
Must have:
  • Efficiently and independently complete editing tasks according to project post-production workflow.
  • Maintain timely and effective communication with production, creative teams, and directors, and perform editing based on the script.
  • Provide timely feedback on any issues identified during the video shooting and editing process, and offer ideas and approaches for post-production content.
  • Collaborate with the shooting team for on-location shoots.
  • Guide and assist junior team members in completing production tasks based on project/team requirements.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects
  • Experience with Cinema 4D

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and independently complete editing tasks according to the project post-production workflow.
  • Maintain timely and effective communication with production, creative teams, and directors, and perform editing based on the script.

Requirements

  • Over 6 years of editing experience in advertising, documentaries, and dramas, with proficiency in mainstream editing software.
  • Clear and agile thinking, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to work.
  • Strong learning ability, willing to accept challenges and handle work pressure, with excellent communication skills and a spirit of teamwork.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Experience with Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D is a plus.
  • Strong learning ability and ability to work under pressure.
