Job Description
- Provide Member service, identify needs, assist with purchasing, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote products.
- Maintain merchandise presentation, stock, clean, organize displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise.
- Maintain Sales Floor in Optical area, handle claims/returns, zone, arrange merchandise, identify shrink/damages.
- Receive and stock merchandise in Optical area, organize, maintain, follow procedures, utilize equipment, complete paperwork.
- Operate cash registers, process member purchases, assist in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Sell Optical products/services, assist with purchasing decisions, measure, adjust, repair frames/lenses, complete orders.
- Identify/verify prescription info, complete/maintain paperwork, collect payments for doctor services, perform optometric pre-tests.

Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.
Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Maintains the Sales Floor in Optical area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area, and organizes and maintains the Optical area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
Operates hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, processes member purchases, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
Sells Optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, identifying and verifying prescription information, completing and maintaining paperwork, forms, and other required documentation, collecting payments for doctor services, and performing and recording results of optometric pre-tests.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.50 to $27.50*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
