Job Description

The Oracle BI Business Platforms Specialist will act as level 2 support for Oracle Application integrations, create new reports in Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE, or Oracle Analytics Cloud. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining reports, developing report-based alerts, creating and maintaining document templates, developing database solutions, operating stored procedures, reviewing business report requirements, and creating documentation. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between the company's IT strategy and its execution, ensuring effective technology utilization.
Must Have:
  • SQL (Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Autonomous DB)
  • Write SQL queries, functions, procedures, and packages.
  • Experience with APIs.
  • Create Oracle Analytics Publisher - BI Publisher reports.
  • Experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).
  • Experience with OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Knowledge of any ERP with an emphasis on Oracle ERP.
  • Basic knowledge of financial modules.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Job Description

Internal Tech teams manage and support our internal IT infrastructure, systems, and tools, ensuring operational efficiency, security, and continuous improvement, enabling employees to work effectively and securely with up-to-date technology resources. They bridge the gap between the company's overall IT strategy and the execution of that strategy to ensure the company selects and executes the right projects and programs. 

As Oracle Business Platforms Specialist you’ll act as level 2 support for Oracle Application integrations with other Endava Business Application, create new Reports in Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE, or Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Create new and maintain existing reports designed in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Visual Builder, and/or Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE
  • Reporting/analysis creation and data visualization. Development of report-based alerts/notifications
  • Development and maintenance of document templates/PDF layouts
  • Development of high-quality database solutions to extend our ERP’s capabilities
  • Operate and optimize stored procedures and functions using Oracle PL/SQL
  • ‌Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
  • Create and maintain the necessary documentation for all owned BI reports

Qualifications

  • SQL (if possible, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Autonomous DB)
  • Ability to write SQL queries, functions, procedures and packages.
  • API
  • Oracle Analytics Publisher – BI Publisher reports & templates creation
  • OIC (oracle integration cloud)
  • OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud knowledge
  • Any ERP knowledge with emphasize on Oracle ERP
  • Basic knowledge of financial modules
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business in English
