Xsolla is seeking an experienced Partner Account Manager with a strong background in the bank card payments industry to join its global Payments team. This role involves managing and growing relationships with card acquirers, processors, and financial institutions, ensuring alignment with strategic payment goals. The ideal candidate has direct experience with card networks, issuing/acquiring banks, and is well-versed in technical and regulatory aspects like PCI DSS, 3DS, and tokenization. Xsolla is a global e-commerce organization servicing the gaming industry, providing tools for distribution, marketing, and monetization across 200+ countries. Must have:
  • Manage and grow relationships with card acquirers, processors, and financial institutions, ensuring alignment with strategic payment goals.
  • Lead client interactions, showcasing strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Work seamlessly across teams, including finance, legal, and product development, to support and manage partners' needs.
  • Enhance partner interaction processes, mitigate conflicts, and ensure the optimal fulfillment of financial obligations.
  • Monitor market trends and cultivate business relationships with existing partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our current partner network.
  • Proven experience in managing partnerships with card acquirers, processors, or card scheme partners.
  • Strong knowledge of bank card systems, including authorization flows, chargebacks, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS, 3DS 1/2.0, tokenization, and payment security standards.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (oral and written).
  • Demonstrate high-level business communication skills.
  • Clearly articulate tasks and set priorities effectively.
  • Exhibit advanced communicative, analytical, and proactive thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Show an aptitude for developing productive partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively contribute to the team.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, Atlas as well as Google Workspace.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Partner Account Manager with a strong background in the bank card payments industry to join Xsolla’s global Payments team. This role is ideal for someone who has direct experience working with card networks, issuing or acquiring banks, and is well-versed in the technical and regulatory aspects of the ecosystem, including PCI DSS, 3D Secure (3DS), tokenization, etc. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with a strong understanding of bank card infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex partner relationships. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global fintech environment and eager to contribute to a company at the forefront of payments innovation in the video game industry.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Previous experience: Proven experience in managing partnerships with card acquirers, processors, or card scheme partners. Strong knowledge of bank card systems, including authorization flows, chargebacks, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS, 3DS 1/2.0, tokenization, and payment security standards
  • Language Proficiency: Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency (oral and written) Communication Mastery: Demonstrate high-level business communication skills
  • Priority Setting: Clearly articulate tasks and set priorities effectively
