Job Description
We are seeking a People Data Management Manager to join our PAC team at GoTo. This role involves governing and administering HR data for our global organization. Responsibilities include leading global data governance initiatives, defining frameworks for organization and people data, identifying and resolving data issues, managing continuous improvement of data stewardship practices, and maintaining global data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. The role also involves defining data standards, conducting data audits, managing people master data and organization structure in HR systems, and delivering data requests through extraction, transformation, filtering, and cleaning.

Must Have:
- Degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or related field
- Good domain knowledge of HR, organization, and people data governance
- At least 5 years managing data as a global data product owner
- Ability to supervise, project manage, and work with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills to identify problem sources and define governance models
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to persuade stakeholders
- Familiarity with key HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
- Familiarity with SQL queries for ETL purposes
About The Role
We are looking for a People Data Management Manager to join our dynamic PAC team at GoTo. As an individual contributor or a small team member lead, you'll play a crucial role in governing and administering HR data for our global organization. This role requires a proactive mindset, exceptional analysis skills with a strong understanding and ownership of data governance, framework, and procedures.
What You Will Do
- Lead global data governance initiatives, define new framework for Organization and People's Data
- Identify root causes of data issues and coordinate resolution with system owners and business users
- Manage continuous improvement of data stewardship practices, tools, and documentation
- Maintain and enhance global data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Define data standards, definitions, and quality rules for critical data elements
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc data audits to ensure data consistency, completeness, and compliance with people's data governance framework
- Manage People Master Data and Organization Structure in HR systems to ensure data availability and validity through periodic data health checks
- Deliver data requests through data extraction, transformation, filtering, and cleaning using provided tools
What You Will Need
- Degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field
- Good domain knowledge of HR, organization and people data governance, data quality framework
- At least 5 years in managing data as global data product owner, preferably experience with HR data
- Ability to supervise, project manage own initiative, and work with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, identify sources of problems, define and propose a data governance model
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to persuade other stakeholders
- Familiarity with key HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and SQL queries for ETL purposes
