Carry1st is seeking a People Operations Intern to support its People team in delivering a world-class employee experience. This role offers hands-on experience across the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, maintaining HRIS records, assisting with policies and compliance, providing systems support, and contributing to culture and engagement initiatives. The intern will gain exposure to people management in a fast-growing, global startup, contributing to meaningful initiatives that help employees thrive.
Must Have:
  • Support employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews.
  • Maintain people data and processes, update HRIS records, assist with reporting.
  • Assist with policies and compliance, keep documentation organized.
  • Provide systems and tools support, ensure teammate access.
  • Contribute to culture and engagement initiatives, coordinate surveys, draft comms.
  • Recently graduated in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, familiar with Word and basic data entry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
  • Curious, proactive, eager to learn people operations in a startup.
  • Team player, adaptable, enthusiastic about company culture.

As a People Operations Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting the People team in delivering a world-class employee experience.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across the entire employee lifecycle - from welcoming new teammates and coordinating onboarding, to contributing to culture and engagement initiatives that make Carry1st an amazing place to work. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to how a fast-growing, global startup manages its people, processes, systems, and culture, while contributing to meaningful initiatives that help employees thrive.

You will...

  • Support the employee lifecycle & experience by assisting with onboarding, offboarding and performance review processes
  • Help maintain people data & processes by updating HRIS records and assisting with reporting
  • Assist with policies & compliance by keeping documentation organized and up to date
  • Provide support with systems & tools by helping ensure teammates have access to the necessary tools and keeping records updated
  • Contribute to culture & engagement initiatives by coordinating surveys, drafting internal comms, and assisting with company-wide calls and engagement programs

This role is primarily about gaining experience and developing skills. To support you, we’ll offer a monthly stipend of around ~$350 (in local currency) for basic living expenses.
