Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Performance & Planning Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing warehouse performance through in-depth data analysis, process optimisation, and the development of key reporting tools. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. The analyst will be responsible for conducting detailed time-and-motion studies, analysing operational data from various sources, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Conduct time-and-motion studies and analyse operational data from WMS platforms and other sources.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance data dashboards, reports, and KPI trackers, primarily using Google Sheets.
  • Develop automation scripts and lightweight tools using Google Apps Script, Java, and HTML.
  • Lead meetings with operations managers and cross-functional teams to present analytical findings.
  • Facilitate discussions on operational improvements and provide data-backed recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document analytical processes and maintain version control of all reporting assets.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualisation techniques.
  • Experience with or administration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse workflows and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to lead team meetings and presentations.
  • Proven ability to work independently, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions without direct supervision.
Good to have:
  • Experience creating custom tools within the Google Workspace environment (e.g., Forms, Apps Script integrations).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Power BI or Looker Studio.
  • A professional background in logistics, operations, or supply chain analytics.

Job summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Performance & Planning Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing warehouse performance through in-depth data analysis, process optimisation, and the development of key reporting tools.

This role requires a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. The analyst will be responsible for conducting detailed time-and-motion studies, analysing operational data from various sources, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.

Your role in our mission:

  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Conduct time-and-motion studies and analyse operational data from WMS platforms and other sources to identify areas for improvement.
  • Tool & Report Development: Design, maintain, and enhance data dashboards, reports, and KPI trackers, primarily using Google Sheets. Develop automation scripts and lightweight tools using Google Apps Script, Java, and HTML to streamline workflows and reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead meetings with operations managers and cross-functional teams to present analytical findings, facilitate discussions on operational improvements, and provide data-backed recommendations for continuous improvement projects.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment for problem-solving.
  • Documentation: Document analytical processes and maintain version control of all reporting assets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualisation techniques. Experience with or administration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential.
  • Analytical Acumen: A solid understanding of warehouse workflows and key performance indicators (KPIs), such as pick rates and cycle times. Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to lead team meetings and presentations.
  • Independent Work: Proven ability to work independently, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions without direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
