The Silicon Technology Prototyping team within Intel Labs is looking for Students in the VLSI Physical Design area wishing to engage in the experience of building Intel's future generation technologies while working alongside Intel's very talented circuit designers.
In this role, you will be taking designs from RTL circuit description language to GDS which is ready for manufacturing.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications, are required to be initially considered for this position:
- The candidate must be pursuing a Master´s or PhD on Electrical Engineering or similar fields (at least 1 year remaining as an active student).
- 1+ years of experience using Automatic Place and Route Tools/Flows (Fusion Compiler, Design Compiler, etc. or similar Open-source tools).
- 1+ years of experience working on Linux design environments.
- Willing to dedicate 30 hours per week to the student program.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications, are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- 1+ years of experience with TCL scripting language.
- 1+ years of experience writing timing constraints for synthesis optimization.
- Familiar with shell scripting languages.
