Autodesk is seeking a Principal Consultant (Data Specialist) to join its Northern Europe Technical Advisory team (AEC). This remote UK-based role involves guiding enterprise customers in developing data-centric approaches and workflows. The consultant will provide services such as process and workflow review, implementation strategies, software training, and technical guidance. The goal is to help customers maximize value from their Autodesk technology investments, leveraging cloud-based technologies and AI-driven insights for optimized data-centric workflows, cost reduction, and project success in architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
Must have:
  • Guide customers in the best application of Autodesk Data solutions & platforms
  • Lead Autodesk consulting engagements with customers
  • Create and manage processes, priorities, and ownership for deliverable work streams
  • Demonstrate proposed solutions and product overviews and relate them to the customer’s business issues
  • Communicate to customers via a range of means including guides, process diagrams, flow charts, and best practices guides
  • Configure solutions based on product capabilities and customer requirements
  • Define migration approach of customer data and standards into Autodesk products
  • Build relationship with key internal stakeholders including product team(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data centric workflows
  • 3+ years of experience working on business improvement initiatives that require the implementation of digital solutions
  • Travel up to 50% to Autodesk events and customer meetings
  • Proficiency in English

We are seeking an accomplished Principal Consultant (Data Specialist); to join our Northern Europe Technical Advisory team (AEC), as part of our Enterprise Programme working with Autodesk's customers in helping them develop Data centric Enterprise approaches & workflows.

The role is fully remote, based in UK.

You will report to the Manager, Northern Europe Technical Advisory (AEC)

Position Overview: You will work directly with our enterprise customers to offer consulting services including process and workflow review/development, implementation and deployment strategies, software training and technical guidance as well as industry expertise to ensure customers are maximising the value from their investment in Autodesk technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers in the best application of Autodesk Data solutions & platforms
  • Lead Autodesk consulting engagements with customers

  • Demonstrate proposed solutions and product overviews and relate them to the customer’s business issues

  • Build relationship with key internal stakeholders including product team(s) to ensure you are across product roadmap(s)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data centric workflows
  • 3+ years of experience working on business improvement initiatives that require the implementation of digital solutions
  • Travel up to 50% to Autodesk events and customer meetings
  • English is the standard language of consulting delivery, additional proficiency in (an)other European language(s) is a plus.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership with a bias for action
