Job Description

The Principal Implementation Consultant leads digital transformation initiatives for customers in the AEC industry by leveraging Autodesk solutions. This role is responsible for driving a wide range of activities—including the development and execution of consulting plans, revenue management, and enhancement of overall team performance—to help customers achieve their goals and solve business challenges, ultimately maximizing the ROI in Autodesk technologies.
Must have:
  • Drive the achievement of customer goals and resolution of challenges using Autodesk solutions
  • Understand customers’ business objectives and challenges to develop and implement optimal adoption plans
  • Analyse customer processes and workflows to propose and implement optimization strategies
  • Design and implement solutions based on Autodesk product capabilities and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with customers, external partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver solutions
  • Create and execute long-term consulting strategies
  • Design and deliver consulting services aligned with the customer’s overall business strategy and project lifecycle
  • Document the value of consulting activities to ensure ROI and tangible business value
  • Ensure service quality and establish scalable delivery frameworks
  • Promote consulting service engagements at the account level and expand the opportunity pipeline
  • Scope consulting projects, estimate required effort, develop WBS, and manage project progress
  • Share knowledge, mentor, and coach fellow consultants
  • Promote best practice sharing and standardization across and beyond the team
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance overall organizational capabilities

Position Overview

The Principal Implementation Consultant leads digital transformation initiatives for customers in the AEC industry by leveraging Autodesk solutions. This role is responsible for driving a wide range of activities—including the development and execution of consulting plans, revenue management, and enhancement of overall team performance—to help customers achieve their goals and solve business challenges, ultimately maximizing the ROI in Autodesk technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Lead Consulting Services from Strategy to Implementation Using Autodesk Solutions

  • Drive the achievement of customer goals and resolution of challenges using Autodesk solutions
  • Understand customers’ business objectives and challenges to develop and implement optimal adoption plans
  • Analyse customer processes and workflows to propose and implement optimization strategies
  • Design and implement solutions based on Autodesk product capabilities and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with customers, external partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver solutions

2. Develop and Execute Long-term Consulting Plans

  • Create and execute long-term consulting strategies
  • Design and deliver consulting services aligned with the customer’s overall business strategy and project lifecycle
  • Document the value of consulting activities to ensure ROI and tangible business value
  • Ensure service quality and establish scalable delivery frameworks

3. Drive Consulting Service Sales and Revenue Management

  • Promote consulting service engagements at the account level and expand the opportunity pipeline
  • Scope consulting projects, estimate required effort, develop WBS, and manage project progress

4. Contribute to Team-wide Consulting Performance Improvement

  • Share knowledge, mentor, and coach fellow consultants
  • Promote best practice sharing and standardization across and beyond the team
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance overall organizational capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven abilities in solution proposal, problem-solving, and project execution
  • Skills in logical thinking, critical thinking, and design thinking
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams and managing teams
  • Experience in leading digital transformation and business process re-engineering
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in the AEC industry
  • Deep knowledge and practical experience in architecture-to-construction workflows and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, or equivalent experience
  • Expertise and practical experience in Autodesk products such as ACC, BIM 360, and Revit
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 and data management best practices
