About the team

 

Payments Platform is an ambitious new initiative focused on building a highly scalable, secure, high-performance, and compliant payment processing system that supports numerous currencies and payment methods worldwide. This team will build the backbone of our financial operations and will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, enabling global expansion and securing customer trust.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Define and drive technical vision, strategy, and architecture aligning with business objectives.
  • Lead R&D efforts, exploring emerging technologies and evaluating their applications for system enhancement.
  • Lead the design of highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems, making critical architectural decisions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to multiple engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams, effectively communicating technical concepts.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, focusing on scalable system design and development.
  • Proven track record of building and operating highly scalable payments processing systems.
  • Proficiency in designing and providing critical API services used by both internal and external consumers.
  • Mastery in various programming languages, frameworks, and deep knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic technical leadership, mentor teams, and influence organizational direction.
  • Profound analytical skills to address intricate technical challenges and innovate solutions.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, meeting high standards of compliance and trust.

About The Company

Easygo is a well-established global tech startup, we pride ourselves on being early adopters, progressive in our approach and adaptable to the ever-changing technology landscape. Our core focus is in the online gaming space building well-designed casino games, crypto platforms, and sportsbooks built on our "provably fair"​ algorithms. The products we build are used by millions of people around the world including Drake and you’ll see their logos on an EPL team, the UFC, advocated by e-gamers and in a number of other sporting places.

The last 2 years have been huge for us, we have grown from 20 to 100+ team members. Whilst the products that we build are global we have two amazing offices in the same building in the heart of the CBD with all the bells and whistles you could ever want. Including an in-house barista, pool, and table tennis tables, PS5 and Nintendo Switches, a meditation room, help yourself drinks fridge and snack wall, catered breakfast daily, weekly massages and team lunch.
