Job Purpose:
The Process Engineer will aid in the implementation the HAPS (Haleon Performance System) principles/tools at the site to deliver the Business Strategy, improve Business Performance (Safety, Quality, Service, & Cost), by using a data-driven approach. This role will also play a key role in Project Management and execution of Productivity initiatives that align with the Site goals.
This is a critical role in the OPEX Team at the Site, and will report into the Site Operational Excellence Process Engineering Manager. This role is fundamental in executing the Continuous Improvement Plans for the Site, to achieve its growth and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Improvement Initiative by leveraging Data & Insights coming through Key Performance Indicators (KPI) monitoring and tracking.
- Conduct workshops/focused sessions to inculcate culture of continuous improvement and enable team to brainstorm ideas for improvement.
- Devise Roadmap for Deployment of new framework under Haleon Performance System (HAPS) activation as per Regional / Global timelines.
- Effectively deploy new systems / F4G projects via Projects Management techniques from planning till closure.
- Create Communication & Visualization plan to create awareness and engage audience to facilitate adoption of new ways of working via HAPS activation.
- Develop Governance frameworks for HAPS Phases and other key Projects based on compliance, user, and audit requirements to ensure sustained utilization and performance of Daily Management Systems / Tools deployed.
- Play key role in HAPS Phase progression by owing AM & Problem Solving Pillar tools (5S/CL/RCA/SMED)
- Improve KPIs through innovative and user-friendly tools and initiate subsequent actions and remediation plans.
- Provide platforms for collaboration between the stakeholders to ensure data/information exchange is hassle and delay free.
- Define actions to be taken and information to be presented based on the KPI analysis and facilitate meetings and actions involving Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as per Problem Solving pillar.
- Ensure follow up of projects and be the key contact for information and actions within Operational Excellence Team.

Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 3 or more years of experience in a Process, FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with Production, Maintenance and Project Management systems
- Experience with Process Improvement, Data Management & Reporting Systems
- OPEX SME - The candidate must have experience in Operational Excellence Systems execution, such as VSM and/or experience in problem-solving techniques (Root Cause Analysis)
- Experience of IWS/WCM/OPEN+/TPM Lean Systems will be a PLUS
- Certification of Lean Six Sigma will be a PLUS
- Certification of Project Management (PMP, PRINCE) will be a PLUS
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical and OSHA regulatory training requirements
- Expertise in managing data, spreadsheets, SAP, Microsoft 365 and Power BI dashboards
- Highly effective communication (public speaking, presentation, visualization/branding)
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions
