Job Summary
Job Description
The Process/Manufacturing Engineering Engineer will lead the industrialization of new products, improve production efficiency, and capitalize on industrial process know-how. Responsibilities include managing equipment introduction, designing tools, performing trials, and ensuring process validation. The role also involves monitoring QCDM, optimizing equipment performance, reducing cycle times, and supporting production technicians. Adherence to Valeo Group's safety and environmental procedures is essential.
Must have:
- Lead the industrialization of new P1
- Improve production efficiency (machine & Direct Labor)
- Capitalize and share industrial processes know-how
- Participate in the design of new equipment and lines
- Lead Lean design workshop
- Manage production equipment introduction using IPROM
- Follow equipment or assembly lines development with suppliers
- Design small tools and validate supplier proposals
- Define acceptance criteria for new equipment or lines
- Perform pre-acceptance and acceptance of equipment
- Perform trials on lines and deliver reports
- Build action plans and follow up for FDPR readiness
- Perform and/or collect capabilities of equipment and process
- Set up equipment and propose PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN
- Participate in PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN
- Monitor QCDM and propose improvements
- Survey equipment performance and optimize
- Work on Cycle time reduction to optimize costs
- Update routing on Information system with SPV validation
- Support production technicians (training, analysis, problem solving)
- Contact suppliers for improvement and support
- Participate in SPV workshop and APU QRQC
- Validate PG RAISE and CdC standards
- Validate any change of standard proposed by sites
- Know, apply, and promote standards in his domain
- Apply SPV rules
- Ensure respect of Safety and Environment procedures
- Maintain 5S and report issues
- Alert for safety rules infringement

Industrialization
- To manage production equipment introduction using IPROM
- To follow equipment or assembly lines development with the supplier
- To design small tool and validate the supplier proposal
- To define the acceptance criteria for new equipment or line
- To perform pre acceptance and acceptance of the equipment
- To perform trials on the lines and deliver reports
- To built action plans and follow up to be ready for FDPR
- To perform and/or collect, capabilities of equipments and process
- To set up equipment and propose PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN
- To participate on PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN
Mass production
- To monitor QCDM and propose improvement
- To survey the performance of equipments , and always in mind, optimization
- To work on Cycle time reduction to optimize investments, material & labor costs
- To update routing on Information system with SPV validation
- To support production technician ( training, analysis, problem solving)
- To be in contact with the suppliers ( improvement, support)
- To participate to SPV workshop
- To participle to APU QRQC
Standardization
- Validate PG RAISE and CdC standards which are created by Standard Owners
- Validate any change of standard proposed by sites
- To know, apply and promote the standards ( PG, sites or corporate) in his domain
- To apply the SPV rules
Environment
- Ensure the respect of Safety and Environment procedures of Valeo Group
- Maintain the 5S and report issues
- Alert for safety rules infringement
