The Product Manager will oversee the development and delivery of the ZEN product, managing all aspects of the project lifecycle. This includes developing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. The role requires communication with stakeholders and senior management, fostering a collaborative team environment. The responsibilities also include leading ZEN product development projects from start to finish. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from initial inception to final completion. Additionally, the Product Manager will be required to provide project updates, addressing any arising issues and highlighting successes.

Must have:

Lead ZEN product development projects from start to finish.
Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, and budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering and marketing.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Manager in the software industry.
Strong understanding of database technologies.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Good to have:

Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience with IoT and edge computing solutions.
Experience in working with developers' communities.
Familiarity with NoSQL database technology or similar database products.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to oversee the development and delivery of our ZEN product. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring that the product meets customer needs and aligns with Actian's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the ZEN product development projects from inception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Communicate project status, issues, and successes to stakeholders and senior management.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Manager in the software or technology industry.
Strong understanding of database technologies, particularly embedded databases.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Familiarity with similar No SQL database technology or similar database products.
