Job Description

As a Production Leader, you will oversee all manufacturing activities across multiple departments, ensuring customer quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves leading and motivating factory staff, fostering their development through training and coaching, and managing demand changes by assessing risks and financial implications. You will support the production system, communicate effectively across functions, and cultivate a high-performance culture. The position requires a 9/80 shift pattern with potential overtime.
Must have:
  • Lead and motivate factory staff across multiple departments
  • Deliver customer requirements at targeted cost and delivery
  • Develop and maximize staff potential through training, feedback, and coaching
  • Respond to demand changes, assessing risk, inventory, capacity, and financial implications
  • Support elements of the Rolls-Royce Production System for high performance
  • Communicate simply and effectively across multiple functions and work schedules
  • Develop and maintain a High-Performance Culture through training and behaviors
  • Work a 9/80 shift pattern, with some expectation of overtime work
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing with 7+ years of experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing with 5+ years of experience OR
  • Masters degree in Engineering or Manufacturing with 3+ years of experience OR
  • JD/PhD
  • In lieu of a degree, 9+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be a US citizen
