Job Description

As a Professional Services Consultant I, you will provide world-class technical solutions to customers and prospects. Responsibilities include performing product training, delivering successful implementations, conducting demos and POCs, and determining service needs. You will also provide feedback to R&D, ensure customer lifecycle enhancement, and travel regionally as required. This role demands professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service.
Must have:
  • Provide world-class solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Perform product training for customers and partners.
  • Deliver successful product implementations.
  • Conduct product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  • Determine customer service needs and generate quotes.
  • Enhance customer experience through Customer Life Cycle.
  • Provide product improvement feedback to R&D.
  • Travel regionally as needed (less than 20%).
  • Post articles, tips, and techniques on the knowledge base.
  • Adhere to professional conduct and company policies.
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and customer service.
  • Experience with MFT products or scripting.
  • Programming experience.
  • CISSP or other security certifications.
  • SQL experience with major vendors (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2).
  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Linux and Windows experience.
  • IBM experience.
  • Cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Containerization experience (e.g., Docker).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a technical consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide world-class solutions to customers and prospects. This role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Perform training to customers so they can take full advantage of our product features.
  • Deliver professional services to ensure successful product implementations for our customers.
  • Perform training for business partners so they can effectively provide technical services and support for our products to their customers.
  • Conduct product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to prospective customers, demonstrating how our products can solve their challenges and meet their unique needs.
  • Help to determine the amount of training and consulting services that a customer needs to effectively implement our products. Work with the sales team to generate quotes and statements of work (SOWs) for these services.
  • Ensure our Customer Life Cycle is being implemented, looking for ways to continuously enhance our customer experience.
  • Provide feedback and enhancement requests to the R&D team on how to improve our product(s) to better serve our customers and expand market share.
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed (less than 20%) to implement client environments with software solutions.
  • Post articles, tips and techniques on our knowledge base as needed.
  • Always conduct self in a professional manner and adhere to procedures and policies.
  • Always demonstrate a high level of integrity, honesty and customer service when interacting with employees, prospects and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with MFT products and/or scripting experience.
  • Programming experience
  • CISSP and/or additional security certifications
  • Linux and Windows experience desired. IBM experience is a plus.
  • Cloud experience helpful (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Containerization experience helpful (e.g. Docker)
  • SQL experience – language and experience with the major vendors including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostegreSQL, and DB2
  • Strong Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
