Job Description

This internship is within the Program Management – Locomotives and Services area, focusing on manufacturing and repair contracts. You'll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, interfacing with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and customer service, both locally and globally. The role involves supporting end-to-end project management for Latin American clients, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficient delivery. Key responsibilities include managing internal processes, ensuring project execution aligns with scope and deadlines, and simplifying processes through strong communication and data analysis to add value.

  • Monitor internal quality inspections of new locomotives.

  • Monitor receipt and dispatch of locomotive manuals.
  • Issue invoices for locomotives, materials, and services.

Who will you work with?

You will be part of the Program Management – Locomotives and Services area, responsible for the execution of locomotive manufacturing and repair contracts. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, with strong interface with engineering, supplies, manufacturing area, quality, logistics, and customer service, both in Brazil and abroad. You will have direct contact with clients during inspections and deliveries, in addition to collaborating with Wabtec's global teams to ensure project execution according to the agreed scope and deadlines.

How will you make a difference?

As an intern, you will have a systemic end-to-end view of projects, supporting program management and contributing to the quality, compliance, and efficiency in the delivery of locomotives and services. You will be responsible for assisting in project management for clients in Latin America, including the management and due diligence of the entire internal process to ensure execution according to the scope and dates agreed with clients. Your communication, organization, and data analysis skills will be essential to simplify processes and generate value for clients and the company.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Currently studying Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Aeronautical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering with an expected graduation date from 2027 onwards.
  • Intermediate English;
  • Intermediate Excel.

What will your day-to-day be like?

  • Customer service.
  • Interface with various company sectors to ensure the flow of information and execution of projects according to contract, having direct contact with the manufacturing area, engineering, supplies, among others.
  • Preparation and consolidation of various reports, for internal sectors and for clients, including cost, quality, and equipment delivery time reports.
  • Due diligence of the commercial repair process, end-to-end, from receiving the component/locomotive to final delivery to the client.
  • Simplify and automate processes, generating quick and objective reports.
  • Monitoring the execution of internal quality inspections on new locomotives to be delivered to clients, identifying and certifying that the product complies with the scope description.
  • Leadership of the entire transactional process of sending customer parts to be installed on the locomotive.
  • Monitoring the process of receiving and dispatching locomotive manuals (parts catalog, operation manuals, maintenance, etc.) to clients.
  • Issuance of invoices for locomotive billing, materials, and services applied in repairs.
