Job Description

We are seeking a Project Management Officer (PMO) to enhance the efficiency and delivery of strategic initiatives for a company providing quantitative services, consultancy, and products to financial and industrial clients, including Fortune 500 companies. The PMO will support governance, process optimization, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful project execution. Key responsibilities include driving project delivery aligned with business objectives, overseeing project governance, monitoring progress, managing risks, facilitating cross-team communication, supporting resource planning, and reporting to senior stakeholders. The role also involves continuously refining project management methodologies and ensuring seamless collaboration between technology, business, and finance teams.

  • Manage status reporting to senior stakeholders, providing insights into project health.
  • Continuously refine project management methodologies for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between technology, business, and finance teams.
  • Strong PMO/project management experience with a proven track record.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and scrum environments.
  • Experience in project delivery, governance, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to anticipate and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Business fluency in English.

Customer provides quantitative services, consultancy, and products for financial and industrial clients, including a number of global Fortune 500 companies. We need a PMO to work in Riyadh.
Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can operate as a PMO (Project Management Officer).

As a PMO, you will leverage your expertise in project management and financial services to enhance the efficiency and delivery of strategic initiatives. You will support governance, process optimization, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the successful execution of projects within the organization.

You will:

Drive the successful delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Oversee project governance, ensuring compliance with processes and best practices.

Monitor and track project progress, managing risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.

Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring transparency and alignment across stakeholders.

Support resource and capacity planning, optimizing team efficiency and workload distribution.

Manage status reporting to senior stakeholders, providing insights into project health, risks, and mitigation plans.

Continuously refine and enhance project management methodologies, driving operational efficiency.

Ensure seamless collaboration between technology, business, and finance teams to support smooth execution.

You bring:

Strong PMO/project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within scrum-based environments.

Experience in project delivery, governance, and risk management, ideally within financial services or technology-driven projects.

Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate delivery risks.

Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
