Job Description

Luxoft is seeking a Capital Markets Business Analyst with expertise in Orchestrade implementation for a Trading and Position platform. This role involves working on commodity products such as Power, Gas, Certificates, and LNG. Responsibilities include gathering requirements through workshops, analyzing and documenting them as user stories, creating test cases, interacting with the vendor, and collaborating with a global cross-functional team. The project focuses on end-to-end implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration services across various asset classes and sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in capital markets, and knowledge of commodity products, along with .NET and SQL proficiency.

Must have:

Extensive experience in Capital Markets
Knowledge of Commodities products

The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products : Power, Gaz, Certs, LNG

You will be part of a Top Initiative for this commodity client.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several type of commodity products and learn a new trading platform.
You will have the ability to showcase the work directly to the End users.

The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:

Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.
Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business
Leverage strategic standard risk systems
Integration with Operations, Finance
Reporting, Reconciliation
Accounting

The application is Orchestrade:

Orchestrade is in .Net (C#): Natively connected to Excel
Database: Microsoft SQL
Delivered In-House or Hosted (Amazon Web Services)

Responsibilities

Be an integral part of the design, implementation, and test team

Gather requirements by conducting workshops/one or one discussions with the business teams/SME's.

Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements by working closely with other team members & Business representatives.

Document the requirement in JIRA as User stories and provide proper acceptance criteria.

Create user stories, test cases and scenarios for the given requirements

Interact with the Vendor team and be involved in solution designs with the Vendor

Work and communicate in a cross-functional Global team comprised of BA, Developers, project managers and support representatives, etc.

Testing & confirming if the development is as per the of the features requested.

Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis via daily stand-up meetings, one-on-one meetings.

Must have

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive experience and Background in Capital Markets

Knowledge and Experience with Commodities product : Power, Certificates, Gaz, Biomethane, Energy, Liquified Natural Gaz.

Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.

Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills

Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment

Experience in writing user stories and working with JIRA /similar tools.

System Integration and User Acceptance testing

Nice to have

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential.

Have a willingness to learn new skills

Must have attention to detail; have the ability to work independently and also as part of a group;
