Project description

The project involves managing IT initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The candidate will utilize their broad IT background, including experience in IT security, user collaboration tools, networks, and application hosting. They will be responsible for data collection and analytics, while presenting to C-Level executives. The role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a multi-priority setting. The candidate will influence decisions and drive results, ensuring a customer-focused approach without direct managerial control.

Responsibilities

Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives

Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams

Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business

Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

Defining and managing project schedules, resources and delivery commitments

Managing Scrum standup meetings

Setting up tasks using the CA Agile Central tool

Performing data collection and analysis activities using MS Excel

Conducting weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are being met and the project is kept on target

Collaborating with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure successful outcomes

Creating/Updating project status reports for program rollup and management review

Mitigating and managing project risks and issues

Skills

Must have

Infrastructure Project Experience: Proficient in managing infrastructure projects, particularly in migrating from legacy to modern technologies.

Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates excellent people skills, fostering effective communication and collaboration within teams.

Adaptability: Highly flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and environments.

Technical Proficiency: Possesses strong technical expertise, enabling rapid comprehension of complex concepts and effective leadership in assigned engagements.

Consulting Abilities: Skilled in providing consulting services and solutions, driving successful outcomes in projects.

Team Integration: Actively engages in team meetings, swiftly establishing a cohesive presence within project teams.

Nice to have
