Job Description

Haleon is a new world-leading consumer health company. This R&D Senior Scientist role, based in Levice, Slovakia, is part of the Oral Health New Product Development Team. The position supports the development of Oral Health products, focusing on formulation, process development, and scale-up activities. The Senior Scientist will lead and support analytical activities within the Global Oral Health Scale-Up Facility, covering a broad range of testing and delivering necessary results while maintaining cGMP and EHS standards.
Must have:
  • Lead and/or supervise the testing of incoming materials and products.
  • Oversee stability testing studies for products manufactured within the GOHSU, including arranging for the loading and retrieval of samples, physical and analytical testing, and reviewing and approving results.
  • Perform comprehensive, sophisticated, and critical evaluations of data from other scientists and your own data.
  • Approve and prepare technical reports and presentations to enhance personal and departmental reputation.
  • Set and refine priorities as necessary to remain focused on objectives and project milestones under rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Degree level and 3 years relevant experience in different analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, IC, Wet Chemistry, Experience of Regulated environment, Technical writing.

The role is a part of the Oral Health New Product Development Team (OH, NPD) based at the Global Oral Health Scale-Up Facility (GOHSU) in Levice and supports the development of (OH) products. This Team is critical in supporting formulation, process development, scale-up activities, and the manufacture of products for pivotal stability, clinical, and other human-use studies. The team will enable our facilities to operate seamlessly, maintaining compliance with cGMP requirements and fostering a culture of quality and safety.

R&D Senior Scientist

The Senior Scientist's primary focus is to bring leading-edge analytical and/or other relevant experience to lead and support activities and initiatives within the GOHSU. This position leads and covers a broad range of testing and associated activities across the OH category and is responsible for delivering necessary test results to support material flow through the GOHSU. All work is undertaken in accordance with relevant R&D, cGMP, and EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities
