Job Description

Coupa is seeking a proven leader to expand its Professional Services presence across Asia-Pacific. This role involves driving delivery excellence, customer impact, and partner success as the region's top services voice. Responsibilities include supporting sales, managing the project portfolio, directing resource planning, building partner relationships, and championing APAC services to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in consulting and services, strong business acumen, exceptional communication, and project delivery expertise.
Must have:
  • Support APAC Services Sales Opportunities: Partner with services sales reps for discovery, scoping, and positioning of Coupa expertise.
  • Manage the Project Portfolio: Oversee all APAC projects, ensuring successful delivery and resolving escalations.
  • Direct Resource Planning: Align regional resource needs with delivery leadership, optimizing partner utilization.
  • Build Partner Relationships: Own and sustain strong services partnerships through regular engagement.
  • Champion APAC Services: Represent the function, drive global initiatives, and be accountable for services revenue targets.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting and services leadership, preferably within enterprise SaaS or spend management.
  • Proven business development mindset with experience in pre-sales, solution scoping, and driving growth.
  • Ability to influence and operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization with exceptional communication.
  • Deep understanding of project delivery methodologies and customer success principles.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to drive clarity and alignment across diverse teams, willing to travel.

The Impact of a Regional Lead, Professional Services – APAC at Coupa:

We’re looking for a proven leader to shape and grow Coupa’s Professional Services footprint across Asia-Pacific. As the APAC Regional Lead, you’ll be the region’s top services voice—driving delivery excellence, customer impact, and partner success. You’ll lead sales support, project portfolio management, resource planning, and partner engagement, while working shoulder-to-shoulder with global delivery, product, and go-to-market teams to scale our presence and performance.

What You'll Do:

  • Support APAC Services Sales Opportunities: In partnership with services sales reps, suport discovery, scoping, and positioning of Coupa expertise to win high-value direct, co-delivery and expert service deals.
  • Manage the Project Portfolio: Oversee all projects in the APAC region, ensuring successful delivery, resolving escalations, and serving as an executive sponsor for key implementations.
  • Direct Resource Planning: Align regional resource needs with delivery leadership, balancing short-term requirements with strategic headcount growth and optimizing partner utilization.
  • Build Partner Relationships: Own and sustain strong services partnerships through regular engagement, ensuring partner performance meets Coupa's standards.
  • Champion APAC Services: Represent the function at a high level across the region, drive the adoption of global initiatives, and ultimately be accountable for services revenue targets.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • Extensive Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting and services leadership, preferably within the enterprise SaaS or spend management domains.
  • Strong Business Acumen: A proven business development mindset with experience in pre-sales, solution scoping, and driving growth in both direct and partner-led environments.
  • Exceptional Communication: The ability to influence and operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, especially at the executive level.
  • Project Delivery Expertise: A deep understanding of project delivery methodologies and customer success principles.
  • Adaptability: A comfort with ambiguity and the ability to drive clarity and alignment across diverse teams while being willing to travel regionally and globally.
