This role involves building and managing customer relationships within target market segments, developing go-to-market strategies, and creating a pipeline of potential customers and deals. The Sales Manager will onboard anchor customers with disruptive commercial and business models and present in-depth technical knowledge of propositions and roadmaps around Utilities. Key responsibilities include determining market strategies, meeting booking and revenue goals, ensuring planning and forecasting consistency, setting sales strategies, developing new value propositions, identifying new business opportunities, and recommending product enhancements. The role also involves managing business proposals, presentations, leading negotiations, and closing sales.

  • Expanding sales growth YoY
  • Established relationships within Utilities across Europe
  • Understanding of public sector procurement
  • Ability to travel

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage and maintain customer relationships directly into target market segments.
  • Develop the go-to-market strategy and required partnering landscape to deliver significant business outcomes.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline with potential customers and deals.
  • Onboard anchor customers with disruptive commercial and business models.
  • Pursue and present in-depth technical knowledge on our propositions and roadmap around Utilities,

2.     Areas of responsibility, permanent objectives and duties:

  •  Determine market strategies and goals for each product and service, understanding the strategies, goals and objectives of assigned accounts.
  • Meet and exceed booking, margin quotas and revenue goals.
  • Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the channel organization. Ensures planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes employed within the organization.
  • Setting up the overall sales strategy in the relevant areas: Creating and executing on a strategic plan to drive sales and profit growth in the vertical market.
  • Developing new value propositions, use cases and campaigns.
  • Prospect the right decision makers within a business to identify new business opportunities and bring an innovative approach to prospecting and acquisition, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending product and service enhancements that improve the overall value to our customers.
  • Responsible to manage, build formal business proposals and presentations, presents to all levels of the organization including executives, leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making processes, and overcomes objections to closure, and closes sales in a professional and effective manner.
  •  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations that effect target markets.
  • Ensure the CRM database is utilized appropriately and maintained on a regular basis, with forecast accuracy.
  • Strong Hunting mindset

Job Requirements

Qualification and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in System Integrator for IoT/Telco/Networking domain preferred within Defense Market
  •   Excellent communication skills in English and knowledge of other language is an advantage
  • Previous track record of working within Utilities environment and expanding sales growth YoY
  • Established relationships within Utilities accross Europe
