interface.ai is seeking an SDE I for Engineering Delivery. This role involves backend development using NodeJS, debugging, resolving issues, and making code changes. The ideal candidate should possess strong software engineering principles, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. The role also requires a self-motivated individual with excellent team orientation who can adapt to a high-paced environment. The candidate will work on developing and deploying applications, analyzing logs, and staying current with new technologies. The role provides an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions and contribute to transforming the banking experience. Experience with version control systems (GIT), cloud technologies (AWS), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus. The role is fully remote.
Must have:
  • 1-2 years of backend development experience with NodeJS.
  • Strong experience in debugging and resolving issues.
  • Exposure to application development and making code changes.
  • Development experience in Javascript(NodeJS) related technologies.
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and stay current with new technologies.
  • Experience with Version Control systems preferably GIT.
  • Good understanding of analyzing the logs.
  • Good knowledge on application deployment.
  • Knowledge of scripting language, e.g.: Node.js is required.
Good to have:
  • Involved in product implementation is a plus.
  • Exposure to core banking APIs is a plus.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud or any cloud technologies.
  • Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes (EKS).

Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to FIs to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell. Our IVA is transforming financial institutions’ call centers from a cost to a revenue center.

Our core technology is built 100% in-house with several breakthroughs in Natural Language Understanding. Our parser is built based on zero-shot learning that helps us to launch industry-specific IVA that can achieve over 90% accuracy on Day-1. We are 150+ people strong with employees spread across India and US locations. Many of them come from ML teams at Apple, Microsoft and Salesforce in the US along with enterprise architects with over 20+ years of experience building large-scale systems. Our India team consists of people from ISB, IIMs and many who have been previous part of early-stage startups.   • Should have 1-2 years of experience in backend development with NodeJS
  • Strong hands-on experience in debugging/ resolving issues.
  • Should have exposure to application development and be able to perform code changes.
  • Development experience in Javascript(NodeJS) related technologies.
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated, a Go-Getter who needs no supervision.
  • Need to have excellent team orientation skills. Good Communication Skills required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and stay current with new technologies.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced dynamic environment with broad level requirements, deadlines, pressures etc.
  • Experience with Version Control systems preferably GIT
  • Good understanding of analyzing the logs.
  • Good knowledge on application deployment.
  • Involved in product implementation is a plus (Optional)
  • Exposure to core banking APIs (Optional)
  • Knowledge of scripting language, e.g.: Node.js is required.
  • Have exposure to AWS cloud or any cloud technologies. (Optional)
  • Have exposure to Docker/Kubernetes (EKS) - (Optional)
  • Having work experience in a startup company is of added advantage.
  • Possess the ability to understand business problems and provide solutions/information related to the business requirements.
